On October 23, 2020 Germaine Franco, Holly Sedillos, and Federico Ramos presented music for over 400 hundred families from around Los Angeles via Zoom. Germaine presented songs that she composed for the Disney/Pixar feature film COCO. Federico performed solo guitar versions of Proud Corazon and Un Poco Loco. While Holly Sedillos performed the lead vocal part in a special live Zoom version of Proud Corazon, assisted and engineered by legendary composer John Powell. The goal of this event was to provide support and inspiration to the hundreds of students who participate in Education Through Music-Los Angeles programs. An organization who partners with school districts and schools to further equity and access for students in low-income area communities.
The afternoon was filled with fun and joy, as Franco and friends shared their thoughts on their lifetimes in music with the next several generations of up and coming musicians.
