Germaine Franco’s Grammy Award-winning score for Disney’s Encanto comes to New York City this June, performed live by the New York Philharmonic in the New York Premiere of Disney’s Encanto in Concert.
Part of the New York Philharmonic’s Art of the Score series, the Madrigal family’s story unfolds on the big screen at David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center while the full orchestra performs Franco’s Oscar-nominated score live to picture, alongside original songs by Academy Award-nominated, Tony and Grammy Award-winning songwriter-composer Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Conductor Nicholas Hersh leads all four performances.
