Germaine Franco has been nominated for a 46th Annual Sports Emmy Award in the category of Outstanding Music Direction as a composer for her work on Noche UFC: For Mexico, For All Time, produced by UFC, Antigravity Academy, Silent House Group, and Nexus Studios.
The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced the nominees on April 8, 2025. The ceremony took place on May 20, 2025, at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York City. Franco attended with members of the production and enjoyed the celebrations.
Franco was the composer and music producer for the UFC primetime special films under the banner of Noche UFC: For Mexico, For All Time which celebrates the legacy of Mexican fighters and cultural pride. The nomination recognizes her creative leadership and creative vision in collaboration with director Carlos López Estrada, and producers Craig Borsari, and Valerie Bush.
This nomination highlights Franco’s expanding creative contributions across genres from film and animation to sports media and honors her continued excellence in storytelling through music.
The Sports Emmy Awards recognize outstanding achievement in sports television coverage. This year’s ceremony was hosted by Roy Wood Jr. and live-streamed on the official Emmys® platforms.
